Welcome to Over The Moon. We are a family run business based in Whitby North Yorkshire. Managed by Rachel, we specialise in the hire of inflatables, bell tents, sleep over and party decorations to make any and every occasion one to remember. 

Our aim is to provide high quality and practical party solutions at a very competitive price. 

From birthday’s to weddings and everything in between, large or small our stylishly decorated bell tents and indoor teepees will become the centrepiece of any celebration. Sometimes it’s the finer details that make the biggest impact.

What We Offer 

Making dreams become reality 

Here at Over The Moon Events we provide practical and affordable party solutions which allow our customers to relax and enjoy the occasion. 
We offer everything needed to have the perfect party. All our packages are customisable and can be finished with balloon garalads, floral arrangements, lighting, bunting and table wear. From single to multi tent arrangements for one night or longer durations we can provide it.

Examples of proven practical uses for our bell tents include, afternoon tea party, soft lounge area, play areas, movie nights, meditation retreats, camping adventure or extra accommodation for guests. From weddings, christenings, birthdays or for no reason in particular our packages have become the centrepiece of our customers events. Shade from the sun or cover from the rain the bell tent will allow you to enjoy your event whatever the weather.

Sleep Under The Stars 

Our Sleep Under The Stars package is our most popular option. The 4m Bell Tent is the perfect size to fit in the average size garden and comfortably sleeps 4. Multiple sleeping arrangements can be provided to suit your needs. This package includes delivery*, pitching of tent, mattresses with linen, blankes, cushions, pillows and is finished in a decorated style of choice which will include lighting, bunting, floral arrangements, ground mats. As with all our packages balloon garalads, party essentials, tables can all be added. 


Afternoon Hideaway 

Our afternoon hideaway package is one of our most popular. Similar to our sleep under the stars package the afternoon hideaway includes a tastefully decorated bell tent but the sleeping arrangements are swapped for soft furnishings which provide a comfy area to lounge or play. The tent is finished with floral arrangements, bunting, ground sheets and mats.As with all our packages this one can be customised and extras added like balloon garalads, name boxes and table wear. 


Sleep Under Party 

Our sleep under packages allow children to have a camping adventure but in the comfort of your home. As part of this package indoor tents are pitched and decorated to suit girls or boys with bunting, lighting and breakfast tray. Included with each tent is a comfortable mattress, linen, pillows and blankets.Multiple tents can be hired to make a nice cozy sleepover party for children. The tents can also be hired on their own to suit other party options. Like all our packages we can customise the package to suit requirements and extras can be added such as balloon garalads, name boxes, table wear etc. 


Balloon garlands and boxes

Add the finishing touches to any of our packages with one of our ballon garlands, archers or boxes. Colours to suit the occasion, all can be purchased individually or added to existing orders for a great price.

What the booking process?

Our booking process is simple for all our services. Following your initial enquiry we will then:1. Confirm availability of dates requested. 2. Discuss and agree on services required.3. Book dates following deposit.

What areas do you cover?

We cover Whitby and the surrounding villages. Depending on requirements we will travel but may have to charge for delivery and collection. This will be discussed prior to booking confirmation.

What payment options do you accept?

Bank transfer, PayPal, cheque or cash are all accepted.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

Before booking can be confirmed we ask for a small non refundable deposit to be paid. 

What happens if I need to cancel?

We understand that things change so we will try and find a solution. Either a new date can be agreed or a full refund (less deposit).

Do you ever need to cancel?

In the event of extreme weather we may be forced to cancel your booking in the interest of safety. I’m this case we will offer a full refund including deposit or an alternative date. 

How much space is required?

This will depend on package but typically our smallest bell tent will fit in the average size garden and indoor setups arranged to fit in medium sized rooms. We will discuss space requirements prior to booking and if necessary make a visit to confirm availability of space.
